- Step 1 – Complete online Affiliation Application form
- Step 2 – Receive email confirming receipt of your application
- Step 3 – Your application will be assessed by the Technical Committee, please allow up to 7 days
- Step 4 – Receive the outcome of your application
- Step 5 – If successful, receive TOGKF invitation with the Affiliation Agreement
- Step 6 – Return the signed Affiliation Agreement and pay affiliation fee
Organisation and independent dojo affiliations are available at this time. We plan to open up individual member affiliation applications early in 2023. We are currently focussing our efforts on organisation and dojo affiliation applications at this time.
Yes. All affiliated memberships are on a minimum one-year probation until TOGKF can fully evaluate a member’s commitment.
Affiliation fees are determined by the TOGKF based on various factors such as strength of your country’s economy.
- Organisation affiliation fees range from USD $500 to USD $1000, or as determined by the TOGKF.
- Independent Dojo affiliation fees are USD $250 per annum, or as determined by the TOGKF.

Senior Dan gradings will be conducted by the TOGKF Technical Committee in person or using video technology such as Zoom in certain circumstances to reduce expenses for members. Information on who is permitted to conduct Dan gradings will be provided upon affiliation to the TOGKF.
The procedure to visit Higaonna Dojo will be announced early in 2023, we are currently focussing our efforts towards affiliation applications at this time.
Kyu gradings are the responsibility of organisations or individual affiliated dojos.

Grading criteria and protocol will be provided upon affiliation, depending on the grade of the Dojo senior instructor, you may be permitted to take Dan gradings up to a designated level.

Yes. The TOGKF supports building strong relationships between organisations and independent dojos. As such, you are required to invite other organisations or independent affiliated dojos within your country to National and International gasshuku’s that you conduct.

No, there is no requirement to pay affiliation fees to an organisation that you are not a member of.
Yes – we recognise that many martial arts styles and instructors have valuable knowledge to share, as such we encourage our members to seek knowledge from other styles, including attending gasshukus held by other styles and organisations.
